Nuthatch Cottage is our delightful three bedroom traditional thatched Norfolk cottage, situated
close to Norfolk`s finest sandy beaches.
Dating from 1782, with a wealth of charm and original features and completely renovated and refitted to a luxury standard.
Spacious accommodation situated in a
lovely location in
Hemsby old village, close to
the village shops and local pub.
Walking and cycling can be
enjoyed along the network of quiet Norfolk country lanes, where bird-watching
is also rewarding.
Norfolk's super sandy beaches are just a few minutes away,
fishing and boating on the Norfolk Broads close by and the traditional seaside
resort of Great Yarmouth lies 5 miles distant with the Pleasure Beach fun
fair, shows, Sea Life Centre, pier and amusements.
Norwich, a short drive
away, offers excellent shopping, cathedral, theatre, inns and restaurants.
Nuthatch Cottage
is a 220 year old traditional Norfolk thatched cottage, totally renovated and
refurbished to a very high standard, with a wealth of
character and original features. The comfortable spacious lounge includes a ships mast
supporting the lounge ceiling, a large inglenook fireplace, 28" widescreen TV
with digital
Freeview (30 channels) and DVD player. There are cottage style stairs winding upto
the large master bedroom, with beamed ceiling, a king size bed with pine
furniture. 2nd bedroom, with beamed walls and ceiling, with
ample room for the twin beds and pine furniture. 3rd bedroom, full of character, has
twin beds with a low beamed sloping ceiling.
Full Central Heating, wood burner style fire and
double glazing makes for a very cosy cottage.
(Access to 2nd and 3rd bedrooms is
via Master bedroom).
The modern fitted country kitchen includes; ceramic hob, electric oven,
microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble drier.
Adjoining
dining room with fireplace and low beamed ceiling!
A modern fitted
bathroom with bath and shower over.
Private garden with patio furniture for those balmy summer evenings.
